The Service

Lexiglo is a multilingual reading companion that annotates text — providing tokenization, translations, and spaced-repetition study tools — to help you learn languages. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

Your content

You retain ownership of the text and other content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”), including text you read, annotate, or capture with the camera. You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to tokenize text, generate translations, and store your study cards and progress. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of others’ rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it, except as expressly permitted.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, authentication, translation, hosting, and analytics) as described in our Privacy Policy. Translations and language analysis are generated automatically and may not be accurate; do not rely on them for any critical purpose.

Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or at our account-deletion page; this permanently removes your account and associated data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of translations or language analysis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexiglo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
